Salil Chari is Senior Vice President of Marketing & Customer Experience for FedEx Express Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (AMEA) Division, based in Hong Kong. His responsibilities include Strategic Planning/Execution and all Marketing, Revenue Management, Corporate Communication and Customer Experience Operations for the division. Prior to assuming this position, Chari served in other leadership positions in Asia Pacific, Latin America and Corporate HQ including Vice President of Marketing for FedEx APAC and Managing Director of Marketing and Customer Service for FedEx Latin America and Caribbean.
Chari’s success within the FedEx organization has been rewarded five times with the FedEx Five Star Award, a significant recognition bestowed on employees who demonstrate leadership, creativity, superior performance and distinguished efforts in support of FedEx customers.
Chari holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the India Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
